At 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 29, a fire of undetermined origin began in a stack area at the Washington National Records Center, a storage facility operated at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 and Records administration, in Suitland, MD. The fire was completely contained in the stack area. Portions of three rows of records were affected. The smoke detectors and sprinkler system worked as designed. 威尼斯人娱乐场 staff is in the process of evaluating the damage, working with the fire department to determine the cause of the fire.
