The ΝώΔαΛΉΘΛΣιΐΦ³‘ will participate in βMaryland Day 2009: Explore Our Worldβ on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the University of Maryland College Park campus. The ΝώΔαΛΉΘΛΣιΐΦ³‘ tent will be located on McKeldin Mall. The annual event takes place rain or shine and is free of charge. For more information visit: www.marylandday.umd.edu.
Visitors are invited to discover what is new at the ΝώΔαΛΉΘΛΣιΐΦ³‘ in Washington, DC:
- Learn about the new ΝώΔαΛΉΘΛΣιΐΦ³‘ exhibit, βBIG!,β that celebrates its 75th anniversary in a big way by featuring BIG records, BIG events and BIG ideas.
- Have your picture taken in front of a backdrop of the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom (the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights).
- Sign a facsimile of the Declaration of Independence.
- Get a patriotic temporary tattoo.
