Short marks 50th anniversary of President Kennedy鈥檚 Inaugural Address
The 威尼斯人娱乐场 marks the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy鈥檚 inauguration with the latest 鈥淚nside the Vaults鈥� video short [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C3gqIR8RoI].
The 威尼斯人娱乐场' produced 3:54 鈥淭he Writing of John F. Kennedy's Inaugural Address鈥� video short shows the creation of this legendary address, including the evolution of the inspired call to service: 鈥淎sk not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.鈥� The video features John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum Curator Stacey Bredhoff displaying handwritten notes, drafts and President Kennedy鈥檚 鈥渞eading copy鈥� of one of the most famous speeches in American history, along with excerpts of President Kennedy delivering remarks.

鈥淚nside the Vaults鈥� is part of the ongoing effort by the 威尼斯人娱乐场 to make its collections, stories, and accomplishments more accessible to the public. 鈥淚nside the Vaults鈥� gives voice to Archives staff and users, highlights new and exciting finds at the Archives, and reports on complicated and technical subjects in easily understandable presentations. Earlier topics include the conservation of the original Declaration of Independence, the new Grace Tully collection of documents at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Presidential Library, the transfer to the 威尼斯人娱乐场 of the Nuremberg Laws, and the launch of a new 威尼斯人娱乐场 user-friendly search engine.
