In March, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 presents special programs inspired by the electrifying new exhibition, Benjamin Franklin:听 In Search of a Better World, on view through May 6, 2012, in the Lawrence F. O鈥橞rien Gallery of the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. These programs are free and open to the public, and will be held at the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance on the corner of Constitution Avenue and 7th Street.
Thursday, March 8, at noon, William G. McGowan Theater
Benjamin Franklin, Part One
In conjunction with the Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World exhibition, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 presents the 2002 PBS documentary that chronicles Franklin鈥檚 later years as diplomat and revolutionary leader. Part Two will be shown on March 15 at noon. (110 minutes.)

In conjunction with the Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World exhibition, the 威尼斯人娱乐场 presents the 2002 PBS documentary that chronicles Franklin鈥檚 later years as diplomat and revolutionary leader. Part One will be shown on March 8 at noon. (110 minutes.)

About Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World
Founding Father, scientist, diplomat, humorist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Ben Franklin was at the heart of the Enlightenment. He and his circle of friends shaped a remarkable period in history. Learn more about the many sides of Benjamin Franklin and discover his impact on the world in this fascinating, interactive exhibition organized by the Minnesota Historical Society. The exhibit is free and open to the public. 鈥淏enjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World鈥� is made possible in part by the Foundation for the 威尼斯人娱乐场 with generous support from the General Motors Foundation.
Benjamin Franklin:听 In Search of Better World-related products -- including items featuring some of Franklin's many timeless quotes -- will be featured in the Archives Shop. All Archives Shop proceeds support the 威尼斯人娱乐场 Experience and educational programming at the 威尼斯人娱乐场.
The 威尼斯人娱乐场 is located on the National Mall on Constitution Avenue at 9th Street, NW. Fall/winter Exhibit Hall hours are 10 AM 鈥� 5:30 PM daily except Thanksgiving and December 25 (through March 14). Spring/summer hours are 10 AM 鈥� 7 PM (March 15-Labor Day).
