There are a wide range of resources available for disaster preparedness, planning, risk management/mitigation, incident management, and recovery. We鈥檝e listed additional NARA resources, along with other website links organized by institution or organization. These listings include resources we think may be of particular interest, but new materials are always being developed so we encourage you to visit them.

American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC)
The Heritage Emergency Programs include a wide and growing range of resources for emergency planning and preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation. Of particular interest for training and response:
- Emergency Response and Salvage Mobile app (This is based on the Emergency Response and Salvage Wheel, which can also be purchased in the AIC shop)
- Field Guide to Emergency Response, which includes a series of short videos illustrating salvage and recovery procedures.
Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA)
This regional center's has a variety of resources including technical bulletins on disaster recovery, and useful services including on-site assistance. The (March, 2016) is a good resource for developing disaster response and recovery plans.
Conservation OnLine
The hosts a database of information and resources focusing on planning and mitigation topics, from a wide range of sources.
Council of State Archivists (CoSA)
CoSA's provides information on a range of training and other initiatives focused on archives and records emergency preparedness and responses. Of particular interest is template.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
This is the main FEMA . Use the Navigation bar on the left to find programs and information resources. Targeted information on FEMA programs and information resources for cultural heritage can be found on the Heritage Emergency National Task Force (HENTF) site described below under the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative (SCRI).
National Park Service: National Center for Preservation Technology and Training
Disaster-related resources on this include leaflets, articles, videos and podcasts from the National Park Service and a wide range of other sources.
The practical Conserve O Gram, is particularly useful for a wide range of artifacts and objects.
Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC)
This regional center has a with a variety of resources including on emergency planning, response and recovery topics.

Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative (SCRI)
The SCRI has a wide range of resources and initiatives for disaster research, training and response with links to partner agencies, institutions and organizations including:
